In today's dynamic business environment, sustainability has become a cornerstone of corporate strategies and national objectives. As India accelerates its efforts to fulfill its ESG commitments, leading organizations like Delta Electronics are setting benchmarks in innovation and sustainable practices. In this exclusive interaction, Rachna Kango, Senior Director of ESG & Strategic Marketing at Delta Electronics India, shares insights into how Delta is spearheading sustainability initiatives, aligning with India's ESG goals, and empowering stakeholders to transition toward a greener future.
As we look toward the future, what are some of the key sustainability goals that Delta has set for 2025?
Delta Electronics, as a company, has always prioritized sustainability. Globally, sustainability encompasses ESG—environmental, social, and governance—components, and this integrated approach is central to our mission. In India, we have set ambitious goals to achieve 100% renewable energy sourcing by 2030. This year, we aim to reach around 25%, progressing steadily toward our target. Additionally, we are transitioning all vehicular movement within our plants and corporate fleet to electric vehicles by 2030. We are also striving for net-zero carbon emissions and full recycling within our operations.
