The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has uncovered a massive money laundering operation in the Mahadev betting app scam, revealing that Ramesh Thakkar and his nephew, Khanzan, transferred approximately ₹200 crore to Dubai. The duo allegedly opened over 1,000 bank accounts in Gujarat to funnel the illicit funds.
While Khanzan resides in Dubai, Ramesh operated from Ahmedabad, orchestrating the transfers. Once their activities came under the ED's radar, both fled before enforcement agencies could detain them.
