Flood-like situation in many dists in state amid heavy rains

Heavy rains battered several places across the state triggering flood like situation in many districts like Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Vidisha, Tikamgarh, resulting in disruption of road connectivity on Sunday. Bhopal recorded 5 inch rainfall in last 24 hours, throwing life out of gear. Bhopal has been witnessing rains since Saturday Five gates of Godhapachhar dam in Rajgarh, two gates of Kolar dam in Sehore, five gates of Halali dam in Raisen, seven gates Tawa dam in Narmdapuram, one gate of Johila(Umaria) were opened.

In Bhopal, gates of Bhadbhada, Kaliyasot Dam were opened.
