Developers with projects in Byculla and Borivali (East) must prove that they are adhering to the BMC's 28-point guidelines to mitigate air pollution at their sites before they are allowed to start work again, civic chief Bhushan Gagrani said on Monday.
The BMC has ordered a halt to all construction activities, both private and public, in the two areas within the next 24 hours in view of the poor air quality in the city.
