Beef fat and fish oil allegations spark outrage among devotees

For many devotees, consuming the Tirumala Laddu as Srivari Prasadam is as vital as witnessing the deity in the Sanctum Sanctorum. However, a recent announcement by TDP leader Anam Ramnarayana has left millions in a tizzy, as lab tests reportedly found that the laddus contained soybean, maida, coconut, fish oil, palm oil, and beef fat.

At a press conference, Ramnarayana revealed the findings from the National Dairy Development Board Lab, which indicated that low-quality ghee was used in the laddus. He claimed that the ghee included animal fat and fish oil, along with vanaspati and soybean oil in stark contrast to the highquality ghee typically expected.
