As the creative genius behind The Wedding Filmer, Vishal has not only chronicled some of India's most high-profile nuptials but he's also redefined how we experience these personal moments on screen.

However, his journey to becoming India's most sought-after wedding filmmaker has been anything but linear. It's a story that spans continents, careers, and a few life-altering twists along the way.

Vishal's early foray into filmmaking was far removed from weddings. He began his career at Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, working on large-scale Bollywood productions that offered him the best of everything.

"Bollywood spoils you," he says. "You get the best cameras, crews, and locations."

However, a turning point came when he had to leave India and return to Ghana, his birthplace. "There was no film industry in Ghana - no cameramen, no sound engineers, nothing. I had to figure out everything on my own," he recalls.
