Panel visits compartments, says they are in 'excellent condition'

Members of the expert committee appointed to study the feasibility of phase-wise reconstruction of the Malabar Hill Reservoir inspected compartments 2A and 2B of the 136-year-old reservoir on Thursday.

The compartments are in good condition, the local representative who visited the reservoir said. However, the decision to reconstruct or repair the reservoir will be taken after inspection of all five compartments, sources said.
