Sambhal: Why 2nd survey was carried out, asks SP

Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav raised concerns over the handling of the recent violence in Sambhal, questioning the need for a second survey of the Jama Masjid and alleging bias in the state government's actions.

Speaking to the media, he criticized the authorities for denying him permission to visit Sambhal, where communal tensions have escalated.

"Why was another survey conducted at Jama Masjid? Why am I being stopped from visiting Sambhal to understand the situation there?" Yadav asked. He accused the administration of preventing his party delegation from visiting the violence-hit region for three consecutive days, despite seeking permission from the Director General of Police (DGP).
