The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to transfer the trial of the rape and murder case of the Kolkata trainee doctor at the RG Kar hospital outside West Bengal.

A division bench of CJI DY Chandrachud and justices JB Pardiwal and Manoj Misra was hearing the suo motu case related to RG Kar rape and murder incident of junior medic on August 9.
