The board also seeks to provide guidance from experienced players and create awareness about different programmes.
The first meeting of the 'Sports Advisory Board', established by the WPU's Sports Department, was held at the Sant Shri Dnyaneshwar Hall. The dignitaries present approved the decision, and the work will commence soon.
The meeting was presided over by the founder president of MIT WPU, Vishwanath Karad. Also present were WPU working president Rahul Vishwanath Karad, vice-chancellor RM Chitnis, registrar Ganesh Pokale, WPU sports director PG Dhanve, and co-director Abhay Kachre.
