The Ahmedabad sessions court has denied the bail applications of five Congress activists who are accused of involvement in the stone-pelting incident at the Congress office in Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, Ahmedabad.
Sanjay Brahmabhat, Manish Thakor, Mukesh Dantani, Harsh Parmar, and Vimal Kansara, all congress workers, had submitted bail applications to the Ahmedabad City Civil and Sessions Court. The bail applications of all five accused were, however, denied by the court on Thursday. The court declared that the act of throwing stones in public is a criminal offense. Taking the law into one's hands in public is inappropriate. In accordance with the new legislation, each of these complaints has been reported.
