The aim was to create a space that exudes tranquility, using natural materials and organic structures. The wabi-Sabi approach was chosen by our studio to meet their aesthetic preferences and requirements. The 1,275 sq. ft. flat in Kolkata's Siddha sky project beautifully embodies the principles of wabi-Sabi, emphasizing the acceptance of imperfection and the understated elegance of simplicity. It is called ENSO because The Zen symbol ENSO, represents the absolute, the duality of life, and the imperfection inherent in all things, is a perfect representation of the design approach taken. The house serves as a physical manifestation ofthese philosophical concepts.
