Both Houses of Parliament were on Monday adjourned till Wednesday after Opposition members disrupted proceedings while protesting on the issues of the violence and police firing during a mosque survey at Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh and on seeking an immediate discussion on the Adani issue in an alleged bribery scam arising out of the proceedings in a United State court.
Before the Houses convened, the Opposition leaders belonging to the INDIA bloc met in the chamber of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge to devise a strategy for the House proceedings.
