A pantomime filled with festive magic

PANTOMIMES and Christmas go hand in hand and if you're struggling to feel the festive spirit this year then Theatre Royal Plymouth's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will definitely help give you that much needed jolly vibe.

I haven't been to a pantomime since I was a child, and wondered if I'd still get the same enjoyment, especially as I was going with my mum and no little ones.

But I have to say, as someone who goes to the theatre pretty regularly, this was the most enjoyable performance I have seen in recent years. It was filled with festive magic and it was so clear to see everyone getting into the panto spirit, which in my opinion makes it even more special.

All of the cast were absolutely incredible. Muddles the Court Jester, played by Andy Ford, absolutely stole the show for me. Andy, who has starred in three other pantomimes in Plymouth, is in his 55th year in the business and it's clear to see he's an absolute expert in his field.
