GOALKEEPER Mike Cooper is battling to recover from a dead leg in time to play in Plymouth Argyle's away Championship match against Queens Park Rangers tonight.
The 24-year-old took the knock when Leicester City substitute Cesare Casadei collided into him during the Pilgrims' 4-0 defeat at King Power Stadium on Saturday and he did not train yesterday (Monday).
Cooper has started the last nine games for Argyle after his return from a long-term knee injury. If he is not fit enough to face QPR then Northern Ireland international Conor Hazard will replace him. Argyle manager Steven Schumacher said yesterday: "We have got a bit of an issue with Michael.
"He got a dead leg towards the end of the game against Leicester so he didn't train yesterday.
