With scenes from the highly anticipated HBO series having been filmed in Cornwall, there are talks it could bring a host of new visitors in years to come.
The show serves as a prequal for the world's most successful TV series, Game of Thrones, and the first episode aired in the US on Sunday, August 21, thrusting Cornwall once again into the TV limelight.
It follows the likes of Doc Martin and Poldark which brought international audiences to the county to visit, due to the picturesque locations where episodes were filmed.
Game of Thrones also transformed the tourism industry wherever it was filmed, between 20112019, and now places like Cornwall, Derbyshire, and parts of Spain and Portugal are expecting some similar results due to the release of House of the Dragon.
