A WOMAN from Plymouth says her lifeline has been taken away after a hit-and-run driver rammed into the side of her car last weekend.
The incident happened on Sunday, April 23 at approximately 2.30am on Looe Street, Plymouth.
The owner of the damaged car, Jill Pedler, described her car as her ‘life’ and explained how she is dependent on her vehicle to get to important hospital appointments.
Describing Sunday’s collision, the 72-year-old said: “It was about 2.30am, I couldn’t sleep and I’d just gone in the bathroom when I heard this almighty bang.
