Owner of house offers apology over bomb chaos

THE owner of a house in Keyham that sparked a major emergency and mass evacuation of the area following the discovery of a Second World War bomb in her back garden has issued an apology to all those it affected.

The unexploded 500kg device was found in St Michael Avenue last Tuesday, February 20, resulting in one of the evacuation largest operations in the UK since the end of the Second World War.

Natalie Jary has recently only moved into the house and has been carrying out renovations to it.
