HARROW BOROUGH 2 (Talla 83, Miskin 88)
PLYMOUTH PARKWAY 1 (Crago 17)
The game got off to a cagey start with Harrow making a couple of early forays forward but unable to trouble the Parkway defence. Parkway created the first chance on nine minutes with Williams seeing his curling effort from around 20 yards well saved by Tyler Tobin.
Parkway forced the game’s first corner on 10 minutes with Tobin doing well to save Shane White’s header. Parkway began to control the pace of the game dominating possession and moving the ball at pace creating a number of chances.
The hosts created their first opportunity on 15 minutes with Reece Cameron’s cross being easily gathered by Adam Parkes. Parkway continued to look the more dangerous side and on 16 minutes neat link up play between White and Thomson saw the latter’s shot blocked and deflected behind.
From the resultant corner Parkway took the lead on 17 minutes with Jack Crago at the far post taking a good first touch and lashing home an angled drive from around 10 yards.
Parkway continued to play with intensity at a high tempo forcing the hosts to defend deep and in numbers and they almost doubled their lead on 21 minutes. More good approach play set up Crago whose close range effort was superbly blocked by Tobin and cleared for a corner.
