Proud Dad Hockings wants to do kids proud in 2024

PLYMOUTH motorbike enthusiast Ryan Hockings I hoping to make up for lost time by competing in the No limits Premier division and the GYTR Yamaha Pro Shop Cup in 2024, writes Stuart James.

The proud father of two has always enjoyed time on a bike and competing in events across the UK, but he put his love for racing on the back burner when he became a family man.

His two daughters are both aspiring daughters and compete for Plymouth Diving, but now, Hockings is hoping to show his daughters just what can be achieved by returning to the saddle to race, boosted by sponsorship from Arcadia Nursing.

“Through self-reflection, I have realised that at times I probably haven’t given my full potential in some of my pursuits, ie motocross, superbike and various sports,” Hockings said. “I am a firm believer that, as a parent, it is your duty to set the example that your children can then follow and, hopefully, this will give them the belief and confidence that they can achieve whatever they set their minds to.
