Pub claims customers left without paying bill

VISITORS to a pub in Cornwall who, it is claimed, were from Plymouth allegedly walked off without paying their £215 food bill.

The alleged incident took place on Father’s Day, when the group sat down to enjoy a meal at The Fisherman’s Arms, in Newlyn.

The business claims that the family, who it says were from Plymouth, said they were popping out for a cigarette, before reportedly doing a runner. CCTV images of the group of diners, including a young child, who can be seen sat outdoors, have since been shared on social media by the pub.
