A PLYMPTON primary school has been given top marks in all areas after an Ofsted inspection, making it one of the UK’s best. Glen Park Primary in Plympton has been judged outstanding in all areas by Ofsted inspectors after a two-day inspection visit in February.
Inspectors judged the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management all to be outstanding, leading to an overall effectiveness judgement of outstanding. Ofsted met school leaders and representatives from the Trust.
They also talked to pupils about their work and visited lessons, spoke to curriculum subject leaders and teachers and looked in depth at areas of the curriculum, including reading, maths, science, geography and PE. The report states: “Pupils at Glen Park Primary love to learn.
