Some bin days will change at Christmas

PLYMOUTH City Council has announced a number of changes to its services over the Christmas period.

But the council is stressing that if you need urgent help, even on Christmas Day, there is support available.

So if you need urgent help or support over the Christmas period, including: ■reporting a safeguarding concern;

■reporting a highway incident or damage that may cause harm;

■help accessing a food bank;

■ if you have found yourself homeless...

Recycling centres:

CHELSON Meadow and Weston Mill will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. Other opening days/ hours remain the same.

Bin collections:

BECAUSE of the bank holidays, there will be some changes to the collections. Collections will be one or two days later.
