A PLYMOUTH forces veteran who has been competing at the Invictus Games says the experience has given him the confidence and inspiration to try to help others suffering from a lesser-known condition related to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Steve Hooper believes he is one of many sufferers of Moral Injury Syndrome, where victims struggle to hold on to the beliefs and values they had before suffering a traumatic experience.

Steve says taking part in the Invictus Games, where he has been competing in sitting volleyball and powerlifting, has really helped him to deal with his own symptoms, and he now wants to help others.
