SIMON Stevenson was bang at it during a 7-4 for win at his old stomping ground, the Clifton, as Plymouth City Super League Division B champions Cornwall Gates claimed the spoils.

Stevenson fired 17 ton-plusses and a 15-dart leg in his 3-1 individual success that also contained a 93 single visit out shot.

Col Maddocks, who is also a former Clifton legend, was equally impressive on familiar territory during an individual phase that contained three expertly taken outshots.

Maddocks' 3-2 win contained checkouts of 72, 86 and 112 with one of the two more modest checkouts plundered in a leg that ended in 17 darts.

Ben Welsh might have put 13 tons onto the scoreboard to go alongside a 17-darter in his 3-2 individual success, but it wasn't enough to arrest Hyde Park's slide to a 7-4 away defeat against Victoria.

Aaron Wright led the Plymstock side's charge to the win with ten tons and also claimed a 91 finish that was the best of the contest.

Paul Hoare's 12-ton haul lit up Cherry Tree B's 7-4 win over Kings Arms A, whilst two of his teammates showed moments of brilliance in the win.

Alex Truscott was the first with a 145 kill that was not only the best checkout of the match, but also claimed the prize money for the division's top finish of the week.

Kev Doel also sparkled momentarily with the only maximum of a contest that saw seven of the eleven ties decided by a single leg.

A 7-4 win for St Levans over Kings Tamerton saw Mark Hopkins add ten tons whilst checkouts of 100 by Paul Freeman and a 94 from teammate Danny Hoyle were the home side's only moments of magic.

Three maximums were put onto the scoreboard in Ker St's 7-4 win over Fawn B with Ian Heggie and Ralph Lancaster both adding to Mark Sargeant's three treble visit.

Duchy A dominated the Duchy derby against their B side with an 11-0 win that contained an 86 checkout by Ryan Ring as well as a 180 apiece from either side as Adey Veale and Jack Heath both fired.

In Division A, Scott Wapshott's phenomenal 16 ton-plus haul led Legends Lounge to a 10-1 win in their visit to Cherry Tree A.
