Tavistock start to climb after an upturn in form

TAVISTOCK manager Stuart Henderson is refusing to get carried away by his sides impressive upturn in form, which has seen them win four of their last six matches in all competitions.

Tavistock start to climb after an upturn in form

After a decent pre-season, optimism was high at Langsford Park, but the Lambs failed to win any of their first five matches. A 2-0 win at Yate Town in the FA Trophy gave them something to build on and in the league, they have followed it up with three wins and a draw which has taken Henderson’s side from the bottom of the table to the fringes of the play-offs.

“It just goes to show how quickly things can turn,” Henderson said ahead of tomorrow’s home clash with Bishops Cleeve. “I think the boys are just very clear on how we want to play and, not through any intentionality, it just seems to be that we were playing one way and all of a sudden, we started doing things that we didn’t need to do in the game.
