A SPECIAL literary event is due to take place at the Theatre Royal Plymouth this evening to mark LGBTQIA+ History Month.
The final day of the three-day Pride in Plymouth Takeover festival culminates in Crème de la Cabaret at Theatre Royal's The Drum Theatre.
Pride in Plymouth has taken over the Drum this week to celebrate LGBTQIA+ History Month, with three nights of events promoting and sharing queer stories and voices.
Events have included a Pride Pop Up and In Conversation: The Importance and Power of Community Archives, featuring Pride's archival material.
Yesterday, in partnership with Queer Out Loud and Down Stage Write, a Queer Voices Platform featured performers monologues and short pieces.
To conclude the festival, Pride teams with spoken word showcase Crème de la Crème for "an evening of spoken world, laughs and live music" "This is very exciting for us," said Crème de la Crème's Pete Golding.
