UP to a thousand Father Christmases are due to crowd into Plymouth’s waterfront streets when the Santa Fun Run returns after a four-year break. Plymouth Waterfront Partnership (PWP) will be supporting the fundraising event this year, with a new route that takes in the Barbican and waterfront.
Organised by Saltram Rotary Club and raising much needed cash for two city charities – Jeremiah’s Journey and Shekinah – the Santa Fun Run will see up to 1,000 people dressed in the famous red and white Santa outfit. They will take to the city’s historic waterfront quarter as they walk or run either a 2.5km or a 5km route.
