Assailants have set off explosives and opened fire in an attack on the premises of the Turkish state-run aerospace and defence company Tusas, killing five people and wounding 22.

Five Killed In Terror Attack On Turkish Defence Firm

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan denounced the attack. “I condemn this heinous terrorist attack and wish mercy on our martyrs,” Mr Erdogan said during a meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of a meeting in Kazan, Russia. At least two of the attackers died, interior minister Ali Yerlikaya said. Mr Putin offered him condolences over the attack.
