HIGHLIGHTING the rise in cyber crimes, Home Minister G Parameshwara has assured that measures will be taken to deal with them. He was speaking after inaugurating the new building of Vidyanagar Police Station, constructed under the Karnataka State Police and Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner's jurisdiction here on Tuesday.
Parameshwara noted that India is taking a significant step by forming a special team consisting of DGP, ADGP, IG, and seven SPs to combat cyber crime. Additionally, 43 new cyber police stations have been established and much success has been achieved in recovering funds involved in major cyber crime cases.
