Guided by Prof Lakshmi Patil, the 7th Semester students, Akhila T Goled and Anjali of the Electronic and Communication Engineering discipline bagged the first prize for their innovative project 'Progressive Braille Learning Kit With Interface', which carried a plaque, certificates and a cash prize of Rs 7,000. The project designed by the students was a low cost Braille electronic device which makes it easy to learn the Braille script in different languages of their choice.
