The deceased are Sharavanan, 30, and Shanmugha Achari, 70, both residents of Radhapuram, Tamil Nadu. The accident occurred around 11 pm on Saturday near Nettathara on MC Road.
The inmates of the car were returning after offering prayers at Sabarimala when the vehicle collided with the bus, which was en route to Ernakulam. The car, which was on its way towards Thiruvananthapuram direction, was completely destroyed in the impact of the collision.
