The state government has planned to hold a special full-fledged cabinet meeting at the Male Mahadeshwara Hills in Chamarajanagar in the second week of January.
Chief Secretary Shalini Rajanish has communicated with Chamarajanagar Deputy Commissioner Shilpa Nag in this regard. This will be the first cabinet meeting after then chief minister S M Krishna's mini-cabinet meeting at Biligiriranga Hills in 2002 to address the core issues including those of the tribals in Chamarajanagar district.
