THE Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena on Thursday said the BJP and Ajit Pawar-led NCP are responsible for the poor performance of Mahayuti in the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra, indicating a rift in the ruling alliance of the state.

Sena (Shinde) leader Ramdas Kadam said that BJP interfered in seat allocations and selection of candidates. "Due to BJP's interference, we lost Nasik, Hingoli and Wasim Lok Sabha seats. We hope that BJP will not make the same mistake in upcoming assembly elections," Kadam said.
