The two seldom look at each other with admiration, passing casual taunts on every occasion.

In real life, however, the actors share a brotherly bond, making light remarks about the experience of working with each other. This is their second outing together after the buddy-comedy Madgaon Express, which was released earlier this year. Agni was shot before Madgaon Express and that's when the two started getting to know each other. "It was love, sorry, friendship at first sight," Divyenndu laughs and then adds lightheartedly, "It took me some time to like him but it eventually happened."

A response begins to take shape in Pratik's mind, as he says after a laugh, "When you know that the other person is taking so much time to like you, then you have to go all out."

Pratik feels that having an off-screen bond helps while performing on-screen. "Agni is somewhat of a serious film whereas Madgaon Express was more lighthearted. Yet, in both the films, we had to perform sincerely and having that comfort was useful," he says.
