Spinners Agarwal & Butte deliver to put Chhattisgarh in control vs TN

The hosts' top order could not find any answers to the guile of leggie Agarwal (5/62) and thanks to his effort, his team has a handsome lead of 241 runs. Forced to follow on, Tamil Nadu were 71 for 1 in 16 overs in their second essay at the stumps. TN skipper N Jagadeesan and Andre Siddarth were with their pads on.

"Our spinners bowled well. After Jagadeesan and Ajith gave a good start, I shuffled my bowlers in order to break their concentration. Thus few wickets fell, credit to our spinners. Then Shahrukh (Khan) and Andre (Siddarth) played with positive intent and got some runs. But I am pleased with the way our bowlers bowled," Amandeep Khare, captain of Chhattisgarh told this daily.
