THE United States, the global hotspot for higher education, has long captivated the aspirations of students and parents worldwide.

For countless Indian students, the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) has been the golden key unlocking doors to prestigious American universities, but as the landscape of higher education is shifting, the SAT has also evolved, transforming itself into a dynamic online experience, incorporating a change made to "better align with modern learning and reduce test-related stress." This digital revolution brings a plethora of changes, from shorter test durations to the faster delivery of results. The goal? A more accurate and efficient assessment. However, these changes lead to an intriguing question: Will this shift level the playing field or create new challenges? To answer this question, we spoke to Rushi Sheth, Vice-President of the International division of College Board, the exam conducting body.

SAT has observed many changes over the years, now the SAT has gone digital internationally. How are students, particularly from countries like India where paper tests were the norm, adapting to this change?
