OGIE ALCASID IS PROUD FATHER OF THE BRIDE-TO-BE

Ogie himself is excited and proud as he prepares for this new chapter in his daughter's life. Leila Alcasid, who is the veteran crooner's first of two kids with ex-wife, former Australian beauty queen Michelle Van Eimeren, recently got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, indie singer-rapper Curtismith.

Ogie himself is excited and proud as he prepares for this new chapter in his daughter's life.

"I'm very excited, I'm very emo about it because she's my baby," Ogie recently told the press, including The STAR.

"But I see that she's so happy. I see that they're

very happy, and her fiancé is a wonderful gentleman who shows his respect for all of us. I feel blessed." Ogie noted that Michelle is also super happy. "I was talking to Michelle, and she said, you know, life goes on. And she's happy with (Curtismith) also.
