Rains to continue through weekend

Rains will continue over the weekend due to the shear line and intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

Moderate to heavy rains are forecast over Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur and Davao Oriental.

The ITCZ will bring scattered rains over Mindanao, the Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Leyte, Southern Leyte and Palawan.
