The decision was taken after many incidents of residents refusing to segregate wet waste from dry ones and keep them in two separate bins to be handed over to the municipality.
As a result the civic body has refused to clear garbage from those houses or flats.
The errant residents are now during night hours offloading the refuse on vacant plots, unnoticed.
The municipality is contemplating to impose massive fines on such errant house owners and work is on to determine the quantum of punishment.
