School leaders are expected to maintain high standards of personal conduct to uphold the integrity and reputation of the public service, said the Ministry of Education (MOE), following allegations that the vice-principal of a primary school had an extra-marital affair with the parent of a pupil.

On Oct 17, reports about the alleged affair began circulating online along with photos of the pair and screenshots of text messages that were reportedly exchanged between the two.
