Captain Tom charity books STILL for sale

AMAZON and Waterstones have been selling books claiming to raise money for a scandal-hit Captain Tom charity despite it effectively closing a year ago.

The retail giants boasted that £1 from every hardback sale of One Hundred Reasons to Hope would go to the Captain Tom Foundation.

But it has been under investigation by the Charity Commission for the last two years - and last July the foundation stopped raising funds and closed "all payment channels".
