CHRIS QUITS RSPCA OVER FARMS ABUSE

WILDLIFE champion Chris Packham has quit as president of the RSPCA over allegations of animal cruelty at abattoirs approved by the charity.

It comes after campaign group Animal Rising shared footage of alleged mistreatment at slaughterhouses on the "RSPCA Assured" list.
