A YOUNG mum and a top international chef have died of their injuries nearly a week after being attacked at Notting Hill Carnival.
Cher Maximen, 32, lost her fight for life yesterday morning. She was knifed in front of her three-year-old daughter.
The mum suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed lung when she was stabbed in the groin with a "Rambostyle knife" while trying to stop a fight between two groups of men.
Chef Mussie Imnetu, 41, was attacked in a separate incident and died from head injuries on Friday. He leaves a wife and a son aged eight.
Two men who have already appeared in court over the attacks are now likely to face murder charges.
