Education Support said there had been a "surge" in the number of cases of teaching staff seeking help.
It comes after the NASUWT teachers' union revealed that one in 10 teachers have a second job to make ends meet. Members of the National Education Union are due to begin the first of four planned strike days over pay on Wednesday.
Gemma Scotcher, Education Support's director of communications and public affairs, said: "We have seen a surge in cases of teachers and education staff at risk of suicide across our counselling services.
