TWO people have been arrested after a dog mauled an elderly woman to death.
The victim, in her 70s, was declared dead at the scene after the attack at a family home.
A 52-year-old man and a woman aged 49 were held on suspicion of possessing a banned breed of dog and owning a dog dangerously out of control.
