After two years of virtual and then muted celebrations amid COVID protocols, the festive season is back in full swing. With a sense of normalcy returning, people are keen to celebrate Navratri like they did during pre-COVID times. From garba nights to performances for Durga Puja, there’s a lot happening this festive season, and singers and DJs tell us that their schedules are packed with gigs once again!
THE ENTHUSIASM OF THE AUDIENCE IS THE BEST THING ABOUT SUCH GIGS: RAHUL VAIDYA
“I’m happy that Navratri is back and people will be going out, just like during Ganpati. I’ve been doing Navratri performances for 10 years. I don’t perform on all nine days because it gets taxing but I am doing a big show in Maharashtra and I’m also invited for a show in Ahmedabad, and I am very excited. The sheer enthusiasm of the people present at such shows is the best thing about them,” says the singer.
