Amid excision move, SCB to shut six roads forever

At a time when work on excision of its civilian areas is underway, the Secunderabad Cantonment Board has decided to permanently close six critical roads within the cantonment. These are among the 21 closed roads that have been a bone of contention between the Army and locals for several years.

The residents complain that arbitrary restrictions are imposed on them frequently.
