Aus Parl OKs India FTA, paves Way for treaty

The Australian Parliament on Tuesday ratified the FTA with India, paving the way for rollout of the first phase of the treaty, which will see Canberra remove import duty on all products and offer a more liberal visa regime in return for India cutting tariffs on some items.The Australian Parliament also cleared the trade deal with the UK.

UAE trade talks: EAM S Jaishankar and his visiting UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks on food security, trade and investment. India and UAE have projected to surpass bilateral trade worth $88 billion this year.
