The Munugode bypoll race took a violent turn when some miscreants vandalised Congress party office at Chandur in the constituency in the late hours of Monday and also set party flags and poll paraphrenalia like banners and flexis on fire.
Demanding strong action, TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy threatened to stage a dharna in front of the district SP office if the miscreants were not arrested within 24 hours. Local Congress leaders on Tuesday filed a complaint with police.
